Michele really knows how to communicate with a contractor and her clients. She understands how important collaboration and open communication is to the process. She's both warm and professional. She was also assertive if services were not provided in a timely manner. That saved me a lot of work. Michelle is very nice to work with, is friendly and has a fun sense of humour. She also tolerated my frequent messaging with photos, had a good list of resources and saved me from making some costly mistakes. She is an experienced Interior Designer and that shows. I learned a lot from her and will use her again in future. She is reasonably priced as well.

Finding the perfect condo as a first-time home buyer was one thing, but knowing what to do with someone else’s leftover style was another completely, thankfully, Michele was right there to help me make it my own. Our first meeting was nothing more than me with a vague idea of the atmosphere and style I wanted and a photo of the floor plan of my condo that wasn't even to scale. Right off the bat Michele took the floor plan and started to spot the hidden and drastically underused functionally of the condo offering creative solutions to the small space and analyzing everything down to the lighting that was supposedly going to be very dim in the living area. Turns out, she was right; the minute the sun went down the light disappeared. I was pretty impressed with what she could plan with a flimsy piece of paper, never seeing the space but nothing compared to what she could actually do after seeing it. Michele was open to any ideas that I had, and boy did I have visions, offering her own ideas and opinions on improvements often un-trapping me from a mindset that was closed off to everything but one particular style. Not only do you get interior design ideas and the latest trends from Michele, but a full lesson on how design works and the biggest lesson of all: not everything has to match. It’s the blending of different styles that makes a condo flow. Always fun, creative and enthusiastic, Michele had the skill to turn some of my most random ideas into realistic outcomes and was available at any time to offer her opinion, even when I frantically texted her photos of items I’d found while out shopping. In turn, her rare ability to see an object and picture the environment in which it fits, Michele often found the perfect accessory that I never would have picked out or found myself. Throughout the design process, she understood my budget and knew how to make a design not only beautiful but functional as well, completely transforming my condo into a rustic cabin in a skyscraper; a space that is perfectly me.

My wife has lots decorating ideas but I have difficulty visualizing them in my head. One of the special talents of Michelle, owner of Miccaro Designs, is to interpret our different ideas and create a design plan that we are both very happy with. Now whenever we start a new project around the house I ask my with to call the "Boss", that is what I affectionately call Michelle. Michelle was amazing ! She worked with me on a short timeline to pick out the paint and cabinet colours, tiles, flooring, lighting, countertops and furniture for a full home renovation. Michelle is very professional and totally understands how a space should function. She assisted me in making smart selections especially when it came to the countertops which saved me quite a bit of money which I really appreciate. I never knew which slab number to look at when ordering the amount of slabs we needed. Her math skills are outstanding! Michelle new exactly how much paint, tiles and flooring we needed. You never made us feel in anyway a bother when questions arose and you kept us up to speed with developments at every stage, again difficult to do so with such distance between us.

Your on-site presence and driven character delivered what has proven to be a very beautiful home and it was all under budget. Our family has hired Michele for consultations and off for the last 10 years. She is always a pleasure to deal with and the first person I phone when I need help with decorating, design and paint colour. She has helped me with many different projects including completely decorating my mother's new condo from top to bottom.
